Follow route A2 in the direction of the city of Amsterdam. At Amsterdam - Holendrecht you follow route A9 to Amstelveen / Schiphol / Haarlem. Go through the tunnel Wijkertunnel heading towards the city of Alkmaar.
At Alkmaar keep going in the direction of Heerhugowaard (you'll cross over a railway crossing).
Follow route N242 passing about 6 trafficlights and going under a small railway viaduct.
